The assault resulted in the temporary closure of the CTA tunnel and the T3 parking area.

An additional two individuals have been arrested related to a robbery at London's Heathrow Airport where over twenty individuals sustained injuries by a substance believed to be pepper spray, as stated by police.

A 24-year-old man, was arrested in the Lambeth area for suspected theft and assault and a 23-year-old woman was detained for suspected conspiring to commit a robbery. Both individuals remain in custody, the force said.

The arrests follow an investigation into an assault at the multi-level parking garage at Heathrow's Terminal 3 this past Sunday. Before the incident, two women had stolen from them their luggage after getting out of a parking garage elevator.

A toddler aged three was one of the injured during the incident. Five people were taken to the hospital for treatment and were later released.

Police detained a man in his thirties for suspected robbery and assault close to the scene. He was subsequently released under investigation as the investigation proceeds.

Police were called at about 8:10 in the morning GMT following reports of several people hurt by an irritating chemical believed to be an irritant spray.

The attack - an event that police said was a standalone incident and not considered terrorism - caused train delays and the temporary shutdown of the main airport tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park for a short time.
